Pretty Paper Bag

I love making gift bags. They are super fun to create and you can design them just like a card, only a little bit larger.  I’ve used the 8x4 colored bags from Micheals.  Although teeny tiny bags would be so much fun to design too! I used paper from DCWV (Totally Girl) on this bag… e-design paper flowers from Prima that I glimmer misted, plain wooden buttons that I painted white and used jute to tie bows on the buttons. And inside are some scrappy goodies for a special little girl!

Halloween Mini

With Halloween around the corner, I couldn't resist making a mini. I challenged myself with this one. I wanted it finished in two days. I did it!! I was simple though. No flaps or tons of pockets. I hope you like it!

Wooden Dress Form

I purchased this wooden dress from Etsy (popalicioustoo). I cut up pieces of paper from a magazine for the skirt and used lace for the top. For the skirt trim I glued on rick rack that I painted metalic black. For the belt I glued on a strip of my dressmakers measuring tape and added a pretty black button in the center. I added a little bling for the necklace, black and pink ribbon on the base and the flowers are from Wildorchidcraft Supplies. I found similar dress forms at Micheals that I plan on decorating too!

Summer by the Seaside Tag

As we shift from Summer to Fall I had to create one more tag that made me feel the breeze on my face, the smell of the sea water and the sound of the seagul! Here's a tag that will keep Summer going all winter long in my craftroom!

Can you smell the sea air!
