DOLL TAG 'Fly'

Hello everybody!! So today I worked on a tag using the new Prima Doll stamp designed by Julie Nutting. They're are so cute and fun to play with! They stamp with blank faces but I just had to give them more character. I 'm not very good at drawing eyes, nose or a mouth, but I suppose it turned out not too bad! LOL There's different layers of media going on along with stamping in the background.
I used lace, buttons, ribbon and wooden lettering.

Dressed Up Tag

I made this tag for a very special lady; and since I just received my 'Prima' Romance Novel grab bag kit in the mail, I couldn't wait to use ALL the gorgeous product. Okay... I didn't use all the product.... just a few things!


I used chipboard for the tag base and glued on the paper. The dress is made from tissue paper using an sewing pattern. I added silver stickles to the folds of the dress, seam binding for the waist, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and Prima bling to adorn the dress. The words and sayings came from one of the many children's books that I collect. The adorable hanger was made for me by my sweet husband. Every once in a while he surprises me with little trinkets that he has made in his workshop.

For the sequence leaves on the back I used some fabric in my stash. To stiffen the fabric, I used 'Plaid' Stiffy Fabric Stiffener.  I cut out a leaf shape and then glued each sequence on individually, leaving an area open to glue on the pearls. Hope you like!
