5x7 'HAPPY ART' Canvas

I love playing with mixed media art.... ahhhh my happy place!
This is a 5x7 canvas. I used various colors of acrylic paints to cover the canvas and used Webster's Pages' collection 'Ladies & Gents and Trendsetter for the background, word cut-outs and to paper piece the prima doll. The flowers are from the thrift store that I gesso'd first before gluing down.

DOLL TAG 'Fly'

Hello everybody!! So today I worked on a tag using the new Prima Doll stamp designed by Julie Nutting. They're are so cute and fun to play with! They stamp with blank faces but I just had to give them more character. I 'm not very good at drawing eyes, nose or a mouth, but I suppose it turned out not too bad! LOL There's different layers of media going on along with stamping in the background.
I used lace, buttons, ribbon and wooden lettering.

Prima Doll Stamp Tag

I am so excited about all the new releases that are coming out. One of the things that caught my eye were all the lush new products from Prima, particulary the new Mixed Media Doll Stamps. I finally got around to playing with mine and here is the result....
I'm definitely playing a lot more with these stamps!!
